Toddlers in Spring

The morning toddler book club is such a joy! The first day they look around but soon make the space their own. The library is alive with their chatter. Looking at books, going  to the art room or getting their Reading Caterpillar stamp – they remember the order!

Illustrations are an integral part of children’s books, it is the visual that first attracts a child to the book, and conveys so much! This  book club we  selected books that are a visual treat enabling us to create projects  focusing on activities that particularly tap into their visual, tactile, and creative sensibilities

Sharing a few pictures with you –

How Pig is a Big? A beautiful book by Barefoot Publications.

A spider weaves his web. The Very Busy Spider by Eric Carle

Rosie struts off with real feathers in search for some supper. We ate honey that day!

This one we love! No David by David Shanon. A lovely lovely book . Love the button eyes and pencil shaving hair! And don’t miss the the belly button.

We had fun sharing books like Matilda’s Cat by Emily Gravett , The story of a Naughty Crocodile and The Giant Ravensberger Picture book with the Toddlers!

Till we meet again. Have fun with books!
